Health Fitness Standards
The main concern of the Health Fitness Standard is the prevention of diseases. With this simple notion, achieving this goal consists of only participating in moderate physical activity. Moderate activity can be categorized as an activity that noticeably increases heart rate and breathing, one that requires an intensity level of approximately 50% of capacity. 30 minutes of this 5 to 6 times a week is all that is recommended.
